I am currently serving in the Swiss Military as a part of a special troop called "Spitzensport RS". This is a group of 50 selected athletes from a variety of sports who have all been given the chance to do their mandatory military service whilst still being able to train like professional athletes.

In the fall of 2017, I began studying law at the University of Zürich.

Having the double burden of University and elite-level sports is for sure a challenging task. However, I am positive that this helps me grow not only as a person, but also as an athlete.

After visiting "Kantonsschule Freudenberg" for two years, I switched to "K&S Rämibühl" for the remainder of my gymnasium time. This gymnasium provides athletes and musicians with the chance to combine their "sport or art" with a good academic education.

I completed the first three years of elementary school at a local school in my town "Horgen" in Zürich. In 2008, my family and I moved to Rye, New York, where I spent 4th and 5th grade at "Milton School", a public, English-speaking school. Back in Switzerland, I went to a bilingual school (English and German) for the last year of elementary school (TAZ Horgen) before going to gymnasium.
